Love Island viewers claim producers 'forced' Islanders to 'start drama'

Love Island viewers are claiming that producers may have had a hand in the ongoing feud between Haris and Shaq.

Tensions have been heating up after Doncaster lad Haris became involved in a heated feud with airport security officer, Shaq.

The pair were pulled apart by their fellow Islanders as they came to blows in scenes which aired on Friday night following a rather eventful game of beer pong and dares.

Shaq branded Haris a "s**t stirrer" after goading him about Liverpudlian Tanya Manhenga's kiss with bombshell arrival David Salako.

The pair locked lips after David was dared to kiss the Islander that he fancied the most for 30 seconds and was instantly drawn to Tanya.

But cheeky chap Haris asked David what the thought of Tanya's kissing which left Shaq who is coupled up with the biomedical science student, rattled.

The South Yorkshire native later told Shaq to "Shut the f**k up," before Shaq responded: "You shut the f**k up you f***ing p****."

However, the duo came together to sort out their issues in scenes which aired on Friday night although they didn't exactly leave seeing eye to eye.

Speaking to Haris, Shaq said: "I get that you're young and you've got all this energy and things like that, but sometimes you need to understand certain situations and know what to say, and when to say it, and I don't think you get that.

"If I'm being honest, yeah, it felt like you were trying to stir the pot."

But Haris fumed: "Don't dad me."

But as the pair appeared to agree to disagree, fans flocked to social media to share their thoughts, with some believing that producers may have had a hand in the heated exchange and their reconciliation talk.

"The producers are forcing these lot to care about whatever conflict is going on rn cos there's no way they are actually this bothered #loveisland," said one.

Before a second commented: "To be honest Haris and Shaq both overreacted over something so stupid. I think the show so far has been dry and this is the producers trying to force drama. #LoveIsland."

However, another fan claimed producers may have asked Shaq and Haris to speak with one another, writing: "Producers setting up fake apologies. Dem man were not ready to chat #LoveIsland [sic]."

"That felt like producer intervention trying to make them apologise, like the Luca debacle last year idk #loveisland," said another.
