Love Island viewers call to 'protect Paige at all costs' after paramedic breaks down in tears

Love Island fans have Welsh contestant Paige Thorne's back as she became visibly upset over her current other half, Jacques O'Neill, telling Jay Younger to 'crack on' with having a chat with the cute paramedic. He tells Paige: "He says he is going to get to know you, I was like 'yeah sweet crack on', it don't bother me."

She said: "He's like 'yeah go and have your conversation with Jay' and whatever...it's not really what I want and I'm just a bit like well are you pushing it that hard because you're not feeling the same way?"

She added: "You either have all of my effort or none of it." Recently Paige and Jacques have grown closer, sharing their first kiss and a night in the hideaway, however, viewers have been worried about Jacques's intentions fearing heartbreak for Paige.

And fans of the show have thrown their weight right behind Paige, who is from Swansea and is a literal life-saver, so WTH is Jacques' actual deal? They were straight on social media to wave the flag for Paige. Former Islander, Shaughna Phillips has her back: "Paige is just the cutest person I can’t cope with her."

@itstiredimlate_ added: "I DONT LIKE SEEING SAD PAIGE STOP IT." And @jjustnisa said: "Stop Paige is so cute and innocent and seeing her cry is hurting my heart." Jay eventually did have a chat with Paige where they talked about their perfect Sundays and Paige's included waffles and Netflix.
