Love Island teaser as Paige Thorne's mum makes 'savage' remarks about Adam Collard during villa visit

Love Island is set to air its annual 'friends and family' episode on Sunday, July 31. During the episode, the remaining Islanders will receive special visitors in the villa. Read here about what happens when Gemma Owen's mum comes to see her.

Welsh paramedic, Paige Thorne, is in for a shock when her mum, Samantha, offers her opinions on partner, Adam Collard. In a teaser clip for the episode, Paige asks her mum and dad: "So what are you thinking of Adam?" to which her mum is speechless and unsure what to reply. "Ahhh," she says after a few awkward moments.

The teaser clip then shows Paige in the Beach Hut saying: "My mum and her savage comments, I knew she would be... I was just like, "Oh for God's sake!" During Sunday's episode, the results of the public's "least compatible" couples are revealed and Love Island will unveil its finalists. Find out how you can vote at the Love Island final here.

Elsewhere in the episode, Paige tells her mum that Adam admits he’s a 2.0 version of himself to which she says: “That makes me feel happy.” Adam, meanwhile, talks to his dad, Billy, about the 24-year-old. He says: “She’s amazing. Definitely. She’s a nice girl. She’s grounded.”
