Love Island alumni have been among the celebrities who have reacted to the news that host Laura Whitmore will not be returning for the next series of the popular ITV2 show.
It was announced by the presenter, 37, in an Instagram post this week that she will not front the upcoming series - which is due to air next year - after two years at the helm.
Laura - who took over hosting duties from the late Caroline Flack in 2020 - said some aspects of filming were "difficult" and expressed hope that she'd done pal Caroline proud.
Her post prompted reaction from a number of celebrities including a host of former islanders - with several of them taking to the comments to say that Laura will be missed.
Tasha Ghouri, who was a finalist on the show this year, wrote: "You smashed it". Shaughna Phillips said: "You absolutely did [make Caroline proud]. Going to miss you".
Faye Winter responded to Laura's post: "She really would be proud. You done incredibly." While former finalist Chloe Burrows wrote: "You were fabulous. You will be missed".
Paige Turley, who won the show in 2020, said: "Gutted to hear this. You were amazing". Demi Jones, who appeared on the same series said: "You were incredible. We'll miss you".
Adam Collard - who was originally an islander on the show in 2018, before returning to the villa in the latest series - said: "Lucky enough to see you both! You smashed it Laura".
There were also comments from other islanders who appeared on the show when the Caroline was the host. Maura Higgins responded to the news: "You will be missed".
Amber Davies, who won Love Island in 2017, took to the comments to write: "We love you". Chris Hughes, who reached the final that year, commented: "You did unreal".

Comedian Darren Harriott, who was a regular panelist on Love Island: Aftersun, wrote: "Thank you for making me feel so welcomed and being a brilliant host and person".
Scarlett Moffatt and Emily Atack both said she "smashed it," whilst AJ Odudu wrote: "You did amazing". Vicky Pattison said: "You did wonderful mate. You'll be missed".
Announcing her departure from the show in a statement on social media earlier this week, Laura said: "Some news! I won’t be hosting the next series of Love island."
She added: "There are certain elements of the show I've found very difficult that cannot be changed due to the format, including the flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new conflicting projects.
"I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands. I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into 3 series. I hope I did you proud Caroline."
