Love Island stars David and Anna-May spark romance rumours after reuniting for 'date'

Axed Love Island stars David Salako, 24, and Anna-May Robey, 20, have sparked romance rumours since leaving the villa.

The dumped Love Island pair are said to have reunited for a date outside the villa, after they both returned to the UK from South Africa within the same week after failing to find love on the ITV2 dating show.

Both David and Anna-May reunited for an interview Kiss FM host Harriet Rose, as David flashed a 'peace' sign while Anna-May beamed for the cameras.

Brunette beauty Anna-May looked as stylish as ever in a beige blazer and crop top, while her fellow former Islander looked trendy in a brown T-shirt.

Alongside the snap, David sparked romance rumours between himself and the Welsh beauty as he captioned the shot: "Been on worse dates."

David became the first person to leave the Island on this year's winter version of the series.

Following his departure from the ITV2 dating show, David found himself embroiled in a bitter online feud with this last year's contestant Dami Hope.

Money advisor David was one of the latecomers to the winter edition of the dating competition but was brutally booted out just a couple of days later.

After leaving the villa and getting his phone back, a back and forth between David and last year's finalist Dami, 24, erupted.

Dami took the first swipe when he took to Twitter to write: "Atp if David needs a trim I'll cut his hair ffs."

It didn't take long before David took to TikTok to threaten to steal Dami's gorgeous girlfriend Indiyah Polack , 23.

In the clip, David sat in a barber's chair while talking to the camera.

He joked: "Dami, you've been getting onto me since I left the villa. I've stolen your barber, you know what I'm going for next."

Dami wasn't amused by the quip and took to Instagram to share a grab of the TikTok video before adding a comment of his own.

He wrote: "You couldn't even bag a girl in the villa, and you think you can take mine," alongside some laughing emojis.

Dami continued: "Man got a trim and still looks the same."

However, David later clarified that it was all in jest and he has no plans on 'stealing' Dami's girlfriend.

In a new Secure the Insecure Podcast, shared with The Sun, David said: "Let’s be real, I'm not speaking to Indiyah at all.

"Dami made comments about my appearance twice on social media."

He added: "I've not made one comment back because that's not in my nature. So I have made a light-hearted joke, just in response to his personal comments, and that was it."
