Love Island Casa Amor bombshell George Tasker has teased possible drama at the ITV2 show reunion this weekend with winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti.
The 23-year-old spoke out ahead of the couple’s landslide win over the weekend, which saw them beat out Gemma Owen and Luca Bish to clinch the win and £50K.
However, the pair’s journey on the show hit a number of bumps in the road – one in the form of George when the girls left the villa to go to Casa Amor.
Ekin-Su, 27, shared a bed with George in the sister villa and during one night, things appeared to get heated in clips that were played to Davide during the Movie Night.
However, Ekin-Su insisted nothing happened between the pair and immediately insisted they were friends in bed.
Yet, George has now teased a plan to throw a spanner in between the happy couple during a livestream with fellow dumped Casa Amor bombshells Mollie Salmon and Samuel Agbiji.
In the clip filmed before the final, Mollie was chatting over who she hoped would win the show, saying she was behind fan favourites Ekin-Su and Davide.
But George then replied: “They’ll win and then I’ll break them up at the reunion.”
Love Island host Laura Whitmore came under fire during the series when she addressed Ekin-Su and George’s Casa amor dalliance on spin-off show Aftersun.
Laura was discussing Ekin-Su’s reported antics in bed with George, when she said: “Once again Ekin-Su swore that nothing happened with George and it seems Davide doesn’t believe her.”
Laura laughed before Tom Grennan exclaimed: “It deffo happened though didn’t it.”
Darren Harriott continued: “She said her head never turned but I think her hand might have turned, and possibly wrist.”
Instead of shutting down the conversation, Laura then turned to Sian Welby to ask her opinion, leaving fans at home fuming.
Ekin-Su’s close friend Mabel took to the star’s Twitter account, which she was managing during her stint in the villa, and slammed the comments in response.
She penned: “The fact that the s*** shaming is being passed off as banter and good television is very concerning at this rate #LoveIsland.”
The Love Island stars are set to gather for one final time to reflect on the series as a whole, with the 2022 reunion episode set to air on Sunday, August 7 on ITV2.
Fans will be treated to a special extended live edition to catch up on life after the villa and what it’s been like being with their partner on the outside.
We also get the lowdown on events that might have happened in the villa that were not aired, while Islanders will address any drama that has unfolded since, as host Laura interviews the finalists.
