Molly-Mae Hague has announced that she is expecting her first child with longterm partner, Tommy Fury.
The pair met in 2019 when they both appeared on the ITV2 romance show, Love Island, and quickly fell head over heels for eachother. And despite losing out on the winning prize money to Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, since the show they have gone from strength to strength, it seems, with Molly-Mae, 23, and Tommy, also 23, unveiling the exciting news that they are having a baby on their respective Instagrams by posting a video.
In the clip, Molly-Mae is seen reading an excerpt from a speech she'd written Tommy, the younger brother of pro-boxer Tyson Fury, as part of the grand finale of the dating show before the video panned to the fashion entrepreneur caressing a baby bump in a monochrome montage of the couple
She simply captioned the video: "I can’t wait for the adventures that we haven’t even dreamed of yet" - referencing the words she spoke in the video.
The couple's celebrity pals were quick to congratulate the pair, with fellow Love Island stars rushing into their comments.
Georgia Steel wrote: "Wow sooooo beautiful." Alongside Montana Brown and Joanna Chimonides from previous series, who said: "OMGGGG CONGRATS MY DARLING!!!!" and "Stop this is amazing!!!! Congratulations love birds".
Lottie Tomlinson, who recently gave birth to her first child, also left a message of congratulations for the parents-to-be, writing: "Omg congratulations beautiful."
This is lovely news for the PrettyLittleThing Creative Director, who has spoken openly in the past about being diagnosed with endometriosis on her successful YouTube channel and Instagram platform - a diagnosis after which she addressed concerns around becoming a mother after learning that a small percentage of women suffering with the long-term condition can sometimes struggle to conceive.
Having been inseperable since the Love Island final in 2019, the young pair have stated in the past that it wouldn't be long before they started a family - in 2020, Molly-Mae said that, by age of 26, she wanted to be married with kids.
Speaking to The Sun earlier this year, Tommy said: “I want four kids but it’s Molly’s body and she’s the one who has to go through it - but I’ll be there with her every step of the way.
"I’m a big family man and come from a big family too and it’s something we talk about a lot," Tommy revealed in the interview, "I don’t think it’s in the far too distant future. We’re so young but we’ve been living together for three years now - we shared a bed the night we met and then every day after that for months so it’s like we’ve been together six years."
