Love Island star Maura Higgins is 'faking her sex-hungry antics', says her ex-fiancé James Finnegan.
The 31-year-old mechanic has indicated that Maura became 'fame hungry' while he was dating her and that she was 'faking' her desires and 'sexual frustration' in the Love Island villa.
Maura, 28, has shared with viewers that boxer Tommy Fury gives her "f**** flutters" since she arrived in the villa and has boasted that she had a lesbian encounter, leading her to be labelled a sexual predator by those watching the ITV2 show.
Her ex-fiance James has raised his eyebrows at these boasts and partner for nine years told The Sun on Sunday that Maura is "putting on an act" and that he doesn't know "why she is using so much bad language on TV."

He poured scorn on her assertions that she slept with another woman, saying that she "never expressed any interest in women when we were together."
James has warned his former lover that "she will be given a hard time when she comes home," as there has been "people bitching behind her back," because he feels she is "playing a game."
James began dating Maura when she was 18 and "much more plain and reserved."

He believes it all started to change when Maura was in her early 20s and began have desires to be a model.
In a damning recollection of the time, he revealed she "never came first as far as I can remember" in the modelling competitions she entered.
What it did give her though was more confidence, as she had to speak about herself on stage and James said that her attentions switched to appearing in "magazines, newspapers and television adverts."

It was joining Monster Energy, in which she was a motorsports promotions girl, which really changed it for her and James.
He recalls "she was away most weekends and was travelling all over the world."
The pair got engaged in 2016 but before they could walk down the aisle, it had been called off and the nine-year relationship was over.
A heartbroken James still refuses to speak about the events that brought about the end of their engagement.

Speaking about the split, James revealed: "I was pretty heartbroken about the split, it took a long time to get over it.
"I haven’t spoken to her for six months now."
He said that he was shocked to see her on Love Island but not surprised as Maura "wants to be famous and she is very ambitious and determined."
*Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
