A Love Island contestant has already quit the show after it begun on Monday.
Liam Llewellyn will tell the other islanders his plan to make an exit in dramatic scenes set to air on Friday night.
The reason why the student, 22, from South Wales, has walked out remains a mystery.
An insider told The Sun: “The reasons behind it are unknown so viewers will be glued to their screens tonight to find out.”
Originally the public had paired Mr Llewellyn with Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma.
However, late arrival Davide Sanclimenti chose to couple up with Ms Owen when he was given 24 hours to choose any lady in the villa.
This decision left Mr Llewellyn single and “vulnerable” until the two new bombshells arrived.
During Thursday’s episodes, the South Wales star went on first dates with the newcomers Afia Tonkmor then Ekin-Su CülcüloÄlu.
Despite the flirtatious evening, the star decided to bow out the next day.
Ahead of his time on Love Island, Mr Llewellyn expressed his hopes of finding love on the TV show.
He said: “I think 22 is a really nice age to meet someone, you’ve got your years ahead of you so you have time to experience stuff and grow together.
“I think Love Island is a great opportunity to meet someone, you’re in with a load of different types, so you can get to grips with what you really like about people.”
ITV told The Standard they will not be commenting on the story.
Love Island returns on Friday at 9pm on ITV2.
