Laura Anderson has taken to social media to address “abusive” comments that have been left on her Instagram page, going on to share the kind gesture that beauty company Bellamianta made, sending her a beautiful bouquet of blooms and a card celebrating her pregnancy.
The former Love Island star, 33, recently announced she was expecting a baby with her ex, Gary Lucy, who she met on Celebs Go Dating last year. Taking to Instagram to break the news to her fans, she wrote: "Our hearts are full Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23".
However, it was recently revealed that she and Gary were no longer together.
Since the news broke about her pregnancy and split from Gary, Laura has received some less-than-kind comments on her Instagram feed.
Taking to Instagram Stories, she wrote: “If anyone writes anything negative on my page re my pregnancy you will be blocked.
“Nobody on here except my family and friends knows the reality regarding the past few months of my life because I don’t comment on press articles or give details or any other parts.
“I will never play the victim even in my vulnerable state. Im simply moving on with my life with my head held high. I do not appreciate abuse at a time I am trying my best to protect myself and my unborn child.
“Please think before typing.”
She then shared a sweet clip of a bouquet of flowers made up of white, peach and dark pink roses, with a card that read: “Huge congratulations on your pregnancy Laura! From all the team at Bellamianta! We wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy xx you can still be a bronzed bella babe as our tan is alcohol free and safe to use during pregnancy! With love Team Bella xx.”
Laura captioned the video: “Thank you fam @bellamianta”.
It comes after Gary broke his silence about his split from Laura and their baby news.
The Hollyoaks actor, 41, is said to be “devastated” after the mum-to-be ended their relationship.
He told The Sun: "I love Laura but we are no longer together.
"My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby."
Meanwhile, a source has claimed: "Gary's been left devastated - he's absolutely heartbroken.
"They spent Christmas together and he travelled to Glasgow last weekend in a desperate attempt to try to win her back, they enjoyed a meal out and attended their first scan together - but Laura was adamant it's over."
