Laura Anderson has revealed that her ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy is currently in two minds about attending the birth of their baby girl.
The Love Island star, 34, is currently 27 weeks pregnant with her first child and revealed that Gary, 41, is in two minds about whether or not he will attend the birth.
"He’s currently in two minds so I’ve asked my mum as well, as you are allowed two birthing partners," she told Notebook. Laura and Gary met on Celebs Go Dating last year which sparked a whirlwind romance before announcing their split in January.
Since their split, Laura has admitted that getting along hasn't been easy and her biggest concern is trying to stay civil until the birth. “We have had times of it being civil and then it’s not…” she told OK! Magazine. “There are a lot of emotions going around for everyone, so it’s difficult.
"Being able to be civil from now until the birth and then after is the goal.”
She added: “Going through a public break-up while pregnant and reading mistruths in the media has been a challenge. I just want to be positive and move forward, and I’m really excited about her coming along. I think if I can get through this, I can get through anything."
Laura was reportedly left devastated when Gary announced the gender of her baby without her knowledge. The former Hollyoaks actor told his Instagram followers that the pair were expecting a girl, but Laura is believed to have been hoping to keep the news private until later this year.
Laura went on to talk about the claims that they split because he wouldn't move to Scotland with her because he wanted to be near his four children with ex-wife Natasha Gray.
The Scots influencer insists that it's simply "not true" and that she was always going to move to Essex, and she said that their break-up was "hard to explain".
