The name of Love Island star Jack Keating’s baby daughter has been revealed two months after the shock announcement that he had become a dad for the first time.
The son of Boyzone singer Ronan Keating shares the little girl with his ex, artist and social media influencer Keely Iqbal, who he co-parents with.
On Sunday, Iqbal was asked by a fan during an Instagram Q&A about her baby’s name, she replied: “Maya Ann Keating.”
She went on to reveal that the reason behind choosing “Ann” as a middlename for her tot was in tribute to her late mother.
Adding: “Ann was my mum’s name. She watches Maya from heaven.”
Iqbal also gave an insight into how she is finding life as a new mum, writing: “Being a mum can be tiring but that’s okay because our 3am chats are my favourite and this is by far the best job in the world.”
Keating stunned fans back in March when he announced that he had become a dad – eight months after he appeared on the ITV2 dating show, meaning that the baby was conceived before then.
Sharing his excitement over becoming a dad to The Sun, he said: “This is an exciting new chapter for me and my family and I am completely besotted already.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a father and give my daughter the most amazing life.”
