Love Island star Haris Namani's ex-girlfriend Courtney Hodgson accused him of dumping her to join the show.
The contestants for this year's winter series, filmed in South Africa, were recently announced and included the 21-year-old TV salesman.
Model Courtney claimed the contestant, who hails from Doncaster, is the 'biggest game player'.
After his picture was released on Love Island's official Instagram page, she took to the comment section to call him out.
"Biggest game player going, leaving me for a TV show and I called it from the second he left me," she wrote.
Her comment has since raked up almost 700 likes from shocked fans.
Mirror have contacted Love Island for comment.
There are no pictures of the duo together on their Instagram pages, but they were seen at the same STK event in September.
Haris recently said Love Island is the "best opportunity" for him to find romance as he hasn't been lucky in the past.
Ahead of the show's premiere, he said: "I’ve never found love. I think this is the show that can help me.
"It’s the best opportunity for me to find the girl and find the right one. I’ve obviously not found the right one myself."
He added that he's a 'unique guy' as he's 'confident' and 'not awkward'.
"I’m very respectful as well," Haris said. "Anyone who meets me, I don’t think they have anything bad to say about me.
"I don’t give them that bad impression to say, ‘Oh, I don’t want to speak to him again.’"
Other contestants include a makeup artist, a rising social media star and a rugby hunk.
The Islanders won't be the only fresh faces on the series either as Maya Jama has taken over from Laura Whitmore as host.
Meanwhile, it's also been rumoured that, after the explosive reaction to former Islander Adam Collard entering the Love Island villa, another ex-Islander is set to return to the series.
Arabella Chi is rumoured to be heading into the villa and even teased the fact on her Instagram page earlier this month.
The confirmed stars include Olivia Hawkins, Shaq Muhammad, Tanyel Revan, Will Young, Anna-May Robey, Ron Hall, Lana Jenkins, Kai Fagan, and Tanya Manhenga.
