Love Island's Anna-May Robey has admitted that her time in the famous ITV villa was "overwhelming" at times due to the intense nature of the show.
The star who found herself leaving the programme on day nine after being dumped by Australian bombshells Aaron and Jessie had previously been partnered with teacher Kai prior to her eviction.
But despite her stint in the South African villa lasting just nine days, Anna admits she felt as though she "couldn't get away" from the drama surrounding the couples and conversations.
While she appeared to be enjoying herself, Anna-May has now said she had no idea whether she was doing the "right thing" by filming Love Island.
Speaking on Johnny Seifert's Secure The Insecure Podcast, the Welsh beauty said: "It's very like overwhelming because you don't get a five-minute break.
"I like having five minutes for myself, I like spending time by myself and I think being in a villa where you're surrounded by people 24/7, even though I love them all to bits, I find it quite difficult sometimes, especially when you're talking all the time, it's very, very tiring in there, very tiring.
"But I think you'll get used to it after the first couple of days, like the first couple of days in there had a little bit of a breakdown."
She went on to tell the podcast host that she remembered being "overwhelmed" but felt fine after striking up a conversation with her female co-stars who also entered the villa on day one.
Despite her initial reservations, the payroll administrator praised the production company behind the show for their support, saying: "To be fair, their production team and they've got welfare in there.
"You know, we've got psychologists that you can speak to, they're all really good when like you're kind of struggling, they're all there for you."
Shortly after arriving back in the UK, Anna-May thanked her new social media followers for their support since she joined the show, saying: "We're back, thank you all so much for the kind messages and support.
"It was really exciting, I really enjoyed it, when three of the boys stepped forward for me at the pick, it gave me a good confidence boost."
She later joked that she found it amusing when Olivia walked in and stole Kai from her but then laughed when Tanyel stole him from Olivia in the first episode.
