Love Island babe Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu has been tempted away from her long-term aim to become a Bond girl.
The actress-turned-reality TV winner had ambitions to head to Hollywood to get shaken and stirred by the next 007.
But ITV bigwigs have promised to turn her into one of the UK’s biggest TV stars if she stays here instead.
Chatting exclusively about her Bond ambition, Ekin-Su, whose showbiz role-model is Margot Robbie, says: “I’d love to play a Bond girl or even a Bond villain.
“Who wouldn’t? It would be a dream role. I don’t think many people would expect it.
“I’ve always enjoyed playing unusual roles in my acting career as opposed to the girl-next-door vibes.
“I’d also love to star in a thriller. Maybe something a little dark. I love Margot. I’ve admired so many of her films. She’s such a girl crush of mine.” Sources say Ekin-Su, who is dating her Love Island boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, was considering a move to LA early next year to audition during the US TV pilot season.
But those plans have been pushed back after ITV bigwigs started making big promises.
Ekin-Su has already landed a slot on flagship show Dancing On Ice and ITV2 has announced her very own Love Island spin-off series called Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecoming.
And my sources tell me that’s just for starters.
A TV insider revealed: “ITV sees Ekin-Su becoming a huge star and have promised to make her a priority for the channel. They have already signed her up to Dancing On Ice and a Love Island follow-up with Davide to show they are serious about turning her into one of their biggest stars.
“They are already having discussions about what other reality shows they could create for her next. One idea is following her journey as she tries to crack Hollywood.
“There has even been talk of a prime-time presenting role if her skills are up to the job.”
It’s clear she’s on her way to becoming the most successful Love Island contestant ever.
So it’s no surprise ITV wants to be a major part of it.
