Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has finally broken her silence and told fans why she's spending time in Los Angeles - leaving the UK and partner Davide Sanclimenti behind.
The Love Island winners are currently separated while Ekin-Su works on a her £1million deal with fashion brand Oh Polly - creating an Oh Polly X Ekin-Su clothing line collaboration.
The 28-year-old has been shooting with the brand for the past week and Oh Polly say they are “thrilled” to have signed her up for an exclusive partnership.
It is thought to be the biggest deal in Love Island history and reportedly cost the brand around £1million - the first major deal since Molly-Mae Hague.
Speaking about the partnership, Ekin said: “I am so excited to be teaming up with Oh Polly. They are a brand I have been a huge fan of for years and which I wore countless times within the Love Island villa.
“It’s a real pinch me moment and we’ve already been working extremely hard on projects which I can’t wait to reveal.
“I am over the moon to be working alongside Oh Polly and am beyond excited to see the public wearing my collections – watch this space!”
A spokesperson for Oh Polly said: "We're absolutely thrilled to be teaming up with Ekin-Su and look forward to bringing her vision to life over the coming months."
“The Oh Polly x Ekin-Su partnership will without a doubt be our biggest yet and we can't wait to unveil what we've got in the pipeline," they added. Ekin reportedly chose to wear Oh Polly over 30 times in the villa, according to the brand.
The spokesperson confirmed that Ekin would be working with the firm “to incorporate her personal style into an array of exciting projects and collections this September and beyond”.
They added: “Known for turning heads and going after exactly what she wants, Ekin-Su showcased her love for Oh Polly, Bo+Tee and Neena Swim throughout this year's Love Island, so we immediately knew it was the perfect match.
“Her confident and outgoing personality, paired with her undeniable eye for style, aligns seamlessly with the Oh Polly brand and we're so proud to have her on board."
A source close to the Turkish soap star previously spoke of the fashion deal, saying she was “ecstatic” after having the “week of her dreams” negotiating deals.
“She's signed an enormous deal worth over a million and now she can't wait to start collaborating with the brand and working on her first ever collection,” they told
They added: “Prior to starring on Love Island, Ekin dreamed of one day making a name for herself, she will never forget this feeling of being in demand and admired by her legions of fans.”
The Oh Polly x Ekin-Su debut collection will be available to fans from September 15.
