Love Island star Chloe Crowhurst announces she is pregnant with first child

Chloe Crowhurst has shared the happy news that she is expecting a baby.

The reality TV star - who appeared on Love Island in 2017 - announced the joyous life update on Instagram on Thursday and was sent well-wishes from her hoards of celebrity pals.

Sharing her delight at preparing to welcome a bundle of joy into the world, she penned: "2022.. when 2 become 3.

"We can’t wait to meet you little one. It’s been an overwhelming few months, but I am super excited for the future and creating memories with my own little family."

Alongside the message, Chloe, 24, shared a snap of an adorable knitted baby outfit, a polaroid image of her growing bump and an ultrasound capture.

Chloe was a contestant on the 2017 edition of Love Island (PA)

The offering was also shared by Leeds-based videographer and photographer David Houghton, who penned alongside the post: "My family."

Charlotte Dawsy was among one of the first famous faces to congratulate Chloe.

The mother-of-one wrote: "Congrats babe xxxxx"

"Ohhh myyyyy GOODNESSSSSS so happy for u darling," Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace joined in.

Former Geordie Shore name Vicky Pattison added: "Congratulations lovely."

Chloe shot to fame on Love Island in 2017 and had previously dated Towie's Jon Clark.

During her time on the ITV romance show, Chloe coupled-up with Sam Gowland but her time was cut short when the pair were booted out by the public.

She previously said that she only ventured onto the ITV dating show in a bid to make her ex Jon jealous after discovering that he had cheated on her.

Chloe claims she only decided to head to Majorca to star on the show three hours before her flight to Spain.

Lifting the lid on why she finally decided to give in to the producer's pleas, Chloe told Scott McGlynn on Celebrity Skin Talk: “On Wednesday I found out he'd been messaging other girls and then on Friday I got called up saying 'come onto Love Island'.

"And I said no, because of all this stuff going on with Jon, who has also been on Love Island.

“I had people, producers, turning up at my old work in Canary Wharf begging me to come on the show and I was like, 'no, I’m not doing it'.”

Chloe continued: "They were turning up at my work and felt really pressured and one day they were like, 'I’ve booked you a flight' and I told them 'see you later I ain’t doing it, I’ve told you numerous times I’m not doing it'.

“Then two days later I started getting loads of messages from people and I thought what better revenge than to go onto Love Island.”

Chloe revealed that she changed her mind at the last minute and contacted producers to agree to appear on the show.

"But I called the producers three hours before the flight, quit my job and they was at my house packing my bags for me before I even got home. I had no underwear packed or bikinis."

Although she has enjoyed fame and success from her time on Love Island, Chloe has insisted that she wouldn't recommend anyone to appear on the show.

"If anyone asks me now if they should do Love Island I tell them no," she shared on the podcast.

"You don't get no support. After the show I was on my own, after the producers kept asking me to do the show, I thought they keep in touch after, but nothing."
