Love Island star Antigoni Buxton reveals secret connection to Adam Collard

Dumped Islander Antigoni Buxton has revealed that Adam Collard sent her a flirty message before entering the villa as a bombshell.

Jaws dropped last week as 2018 Islander Adam became the first star to ever return to the Love Island villa for another stint in a different series.

Following his entry, he expressed his interest in Paige - sparking a furious reaction from Jacques and ultimately leading to his departure from the villa.

Prior to appearing in the villa, Antigoni was booted out alongside Charlie by their fellow Islanders after they landed at the bottom of the public vote with Danica, Jay, Tasha and Andrew.

Speaking to OK! about her villa experience, she revealed that Adam had left a comment about her on a friend's photo in Instagram.

She said: "There was a photo of me on my friend’s Instagram the other day. And he replied to it calling me fit and then followed me!"

"So, we’ll see if he slides into my DMs when he’s out."

Opening up about Adam's blossoming romance with friend Paige, Antigoni said that she reckons Paige will go back to Jacques outside the villa.

"She’ll entertain Adam because she’s such a flirt but you can tell she’s got something special with Jacques, so I think she’ll stick with him," Antigoni said. "I caught up with him on FaceTime after he’d left and you could just tell he’d had enough."

It comes after Jacques broke his silence last week over his shock exit, saying the show "broke him" and that it was the "worst decision" of his life.

Revealing he was "sobbing" constantly and that he "got in a rut", Jacques opened up about his ADHD.

Speaking to The Sun in his first interview, Jacques said: "I was ready to break down. I was feeling so mentally drained, I just wanted to go home and get myself right.

"It broke me and I was already broken. I was crying my eyes out. I couldn’t cope. I was literally feeling awful. It was the worst I’d ever felt in my life."

He added that he "couldn’t cope" in the villa, and said: "Doing Love Island was the worst decision of my life."

*Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
