Love Island spoiler: Paige in tears as she questions Jacques romance after row erupts in villa

Love Island star Paige Thorne has been left in tears as she doubted the future of her romance with Jacques in the latest ITV2 teaser.

The couple, who recently enjoyed a steamy evening in the Hideaway, are set to have their romance tested in the upcoming days.

In what is set to be another heated episode in the Love Island villa on Thursday evening, Jay admitted to Ekin-Su that he wanted to get to know Paige.

This led to a fiery exchange between the pair, with Ekin-Su storming off after calling him “muggy” and a “player.”

“The biggest player in this villa is you... and you deserve the biggest Oscar in here,” Ekin-Su added sarcastically.

However, it wasn’t the row that had left Paige in tears.

When Jay approached Jacques about getting to know his current partner, the 23-year-old rugby player took a very laid-back approach and didn’t necessarily oppose it.

After Jacques branded Ekin-Su a “headache”, he later said to Paige: “He said he wants to get to know you, so I said, ‘Sweet, crack on.’”

“It doesn’t bother me in the slightest. You do your thing.”

Jacques’ relaxed approach to having new competition left Paige feeling doubtful about their future.

Confiding in her fellow housemate Tasha, Paige explained: “Just the whole Jacques saying, he’s like, “Yeah, go and have your conversation with Jay and whatever.” I’m just like, but it’s not really what I want.”

“I’m just a bit like well are you pushing me that hard because you’re not feeling the same way? You either have all my effort or none of it.”

It remains to be seen whether Jacques remains loyal to Paige or is happy to let the paramedic move on with other Islanders.

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
