In the Love Island betrayal no-one saw coming, Will Young has cheated on Jessie Wynter, after she left for Casa Amor, with his actions exposed in a teaser for Tuesday's episode.
Before the ITV show's infamous second villa returned to cause more chaos, fan favourite Will and ex Love Island Australia star Jessie were favourites to win the new series. While cracks were starting to appear in some of the other relationships in the villa, theirs looked pretty solid and they had sex the Hideaway just days ago, which makes it all the more shocking that he's strayed so quickly into the Casa Amor twist, which has seen Jessie and the other girls move to Casa to be greeted by six new boys as Wil and the Love Island boys have been joined by six new girls in the main villa.
The seeds were sown on Will potentially doing the dirty on Jessie at the end of Monday night's Love Island, when a teaser for Tuesday's show, saw him getting close to bombshell Layla outside of a challenge. And now the extent of his actions have been revealed in a preview clip of what's to come.
The brief video sees Will admit that he was "gravitating" towards the newcomer in a cosy chat on the terrace, hours after a kissing challenge which pit Casa Amor against the main villa.
He then tells her: "Except you didn't pick me in the challenge, which I'm still fuming about!" Layla fires back: "You didn't pick me, You kissed two girls and I wasn't one of them."
After asking Layla if she was jealous of him locking lips with two other new arrivals, Will then takes the initiative and leans in for a kiss.
News of Will kissing Layla didn't take long to reach Twitter or get a reaction from unimpressed Love Island viewers, with one fuming: "I keep forgetting that Will and Jessie have actually had sex and he told her he was falling for her. If he cracks on in Casa then he's one of the biggest players this show has seen."
Equally angry at Will for the betrayal, a second tweeted: "we were all worrying about Jessie when it was really Will," with another viewer commenting: "Jessie bigging up Will to the new guy, shutting him down and saying “how can you top that?” whilst Will is behaving like THAT??? Poor girl"
