Love Island's Tyrique chooses Ella over Leah - but fans 'rumble' heartbreak ahead

Love Island viewers are convinced Tyrique is about to break one Islanders' heart, after he chose between two girls on Thursday night.

After days of giving partner Ella mixed signals about where their pairing was headed, he finally decided to stick with Ella - after flirting with new girl Leah.

Tyrique had shared his hopes to get to know different girls and not focus solely on Ella despite her sharing she was pretty much closed off.

He then proceeded to spend a lot of time having flirty chats with Leah, while he also kissed other girls in the challenge - so Ella got her own back in the latest task and kissed Zach.

Ella and Tyrique have had quite a few heated chats in recent episodes over how he feels and the situation with the bombshells, but on Thursday he finally came to a decision.

He confessed seeing Ella kiss someone else made him realise who he wanted to be with, and that he didn't want to get to know anyone else now.

Firstly he spoke to Leah and told her that while he thought she was attractive, he had realised it was Ella he wanted to get to know better.

He told her it had taken him a while to realise but now that he knew, he wanted to be honest.

After friendzoning Leah, he then pulled Ella for a chat and delivered a sweet speech about his feelings.

He won her over, and as Ella smiled over his comments he leaned in for a kiss and it seemed they were back on track.

But not everyone was convinced this was it for them in terms of drama, with many guessing "heartbreak" awaited Ella.

Some even believed it might be a while until it happens, suggesting Casa Amor would see Tyrique betray Ella.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Ty is going to absolutely break Ella's heart at casa."

Another tweeted: "Casa amor gonna be heartbreak," as a third fan agreed: "Ty is about to break Ella's heart during casa amor."

A fourth fan commented: "This Ella heartbreak gonna be one for the ages."

It comes as the show aired the second dumping of the series on Wednesday night, and viewers were not impressed as a popular contestant was voted off the show.

It was Ruchee who said goodbye to the villa for good, as her pal Ella was saved by their co-stars in the latest brutal dumping twist.

Following a dramatic recoupling, Ella was left single after new girl Leah stole her man Tyrique - while Ruchee was left alone after André picked Catherine.

As Ella and Ruchee waited to learn their fates, they were told one of them would be leaving and that the decision would be down to the other Islanders.

As Ruchee and Ella headed to the sundeck, their fellow Islanders deliberated amid Ella's ongoing connection with Tyrique.

It was this connection that gave Ella an advantage as Ruchee had no connection in the villa, and the Islanders believed Ella and Tyrique could still work.

This didn't make it any easier for some of the girls though, with Catherine saying: “This is very difficult, it’s obviously not nice seeing two of your friends standing up there.”

Jess added: “They both have amazing personalities and it’s just unfortunate that it’s come to this.”

Mitchel then said: “I get on with both of them, they’re both my mates and I adore Ruchee, she’s just had a bit of bad luck…”

As the group called the girls back to the fire pit, it was Mehdi who stood up to reveal the result and who was being dumped.

As Ella and Ruchee watched on, Mehdi confirmed they had decided to save Ella and that Ruchee would be dumped immediately.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
