Love Island 's Tyne-Lexy Clarson flew back from Spain after her mum had a heart attack.
The 25-year-old was on holiday when her mum went into hospital for emergency treatment.
The former reality star, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2017,was unable to get back to the UK immediately, leaving her briefly stranded in Spain.
But she was finally able to be by her mum’s side, and shared the sweet moment she was reunited with her on her Instagram Stories.
Posting a snap of mum Tracey in her hospital bed, wearing jazzy polka dot pyjamas, Tyne-Lexy explained to her 419,000 followers that she experienced a travel nightmare as she frantically tried to get back home to her beloved mum.
“Thanks for all your kind messages. My momma's doing okay,” she began.
“She suffered a heart attack at the weekend and I was stuck in Spain and was only able to get back today which is a whole other story that I'll talk about soon…,” she added.
“But just so happy to finally be reunited with her and that she's doing ok.”
Tyne-Lexy sweetly brought back gifts for her ailing mum, who she joked was over the moon to be eating hospital food as it was serving her favourite meal.
“Still managing to have a smile on her face at the fact she's getting her favourite food - cheese and potato pie,” she said.
She later posted a picture of mum Tracey holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers, but told her fans she was unable to keep them on the ward due to hospital policy.
Tyne-Lexy said she didn't know what the “world has come to” as she fumed over her mum being unable to keep the red tulips by her bedside to cheer her up.
The model also returned from Spain with a carefully wrapped donut, which made her mum laugh as she opened it.
Shortly before her mad dash to get back to the UK, Tyne-Lexy posted snaps from her trip to Marbella, posing in a lemon print bikini and straw hat as she bathed in the glorious sunshine.
The ex-reality star shot to fame when she appeared on the third series of Love Island, which was eventually won by Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay.
She lasted one week in the Spanish villa, before being booted out after failing to couple up with anyone.
