Love Island's Tanya involved in 'accident' in villa which sees her 'rushed to medics'

Love Island's Tanya Manhenga is believed to have received medical attention after an accident in the villa.

The 23-year-old is said to have fallen and hurt her arm in the villa, leaving her in a lot of pain.

It is believed that Tanya tripped and fell with medics confirming that she hadn't suffered a sprain or "broken anything", writes The Mirror.

The biomedical student is said to be "a bit bruised" though following her fall but is doing ok.

A source told the Sun : "Tanya tripped over in the villa and said she was in a fair bit of pain."

They further commented about it: "She was checked over by the villa medics who confirmed she'd just banged herself and hadn't sprained or broken anything."

"Tanya said she felt a bit bruised and that the shock of the trip caught her off guard," they said.

The source added that the safety of the islanders is "paramount" on the production and so Tanya was "seen to quickly".

The news comes as Tanya and Martin had an argument after she made a declaration to Shaq after bringing Martin back from Casa Amor.

In last night's episode, after the islanders enjoyed a party with DJ Jax Jones and Calum Scott, Tanya got up and made an announcement to Shaq in front of her fellow islanders.

She said: "I'm saying this in front of everyone because I came in with Martin in front of everyone and I can't imagine the embarrassment that you felt and the hurt that you felt and how disappointed you were in me, I'm so sorry for embarrassing you and making you feel hurt."

And in tonight's episode, Martin branded Tanya a liar, saying: "You are a liar. You made me look like an idiot".

Love Island continues tomorrow night on ITV2 and ITX.
