Love Island's Shaughna Phillips reveals she ended up in eating a takeaway pizza on Christmas Day after walking of a restaurant, which should have cost her £1,300.
The mum-to-be, 28, splashed out on a fancy restaurant for the big day - but it ended up being a 'disaster from the get-go', she says.
As she sat down to dinner with her family, who all paid £80 in advance for the Christmas meal, Shaughna said she sensed the waiters "had no clue what was going on".
Revealing she'd had to choose what she was eating eight weeks in advance, the influencer said: "The waiters, who looked about 16 and as if they were plucked from off the street, had no clue what was going on.
"At quarter to four, I complained that we were still waiting for our main course. When it finally came out, it was just a plate of meat with no sides. We all had a slice of turkey each," she told OK! magazine.
Shaughna said the manager came over to the table in tears as the Love Island er admitted she 'felt so bad' for her, despite the drama unfolding in the restaurant.
After noticing a mother and son leave the venue after waiting for a bill that never came, Shaughna decided to follow suit.
"It was £100 a head and with the drinks, the bill would've been £1,300," she revealed.
"We walked out without paying, we went home hungry. I got an email later with apology from the restaurant and my £80 deposit refunded. Billy and I ended up sharing a pizza for dinner that night."
Shaughna and Billy are looking forward to welcoming their bundle of joy in March.
The TV star has kept mum about her baby daddy's identity - even after being grilled on Instagram.
During a Q&A on the social media site, Shaughna was asked: "Why are you so closed off / secret when it comes to your boyfriend and love life? You don’t share much."
Responding to the so-called mystery, the mum-to-be replied: "It’s my boyfriend’s personal choice to not be posted on my social media so I respect it.
"Whether he changes his mind in the future I don’t know."
