The Love Island reunion went off in predictably heated fashion as Shaq Muhammad clashed with Martin Akinola over comments the latter made about Tanya Manhenga.
Shaq and Tanya finished fourth in the latest series of the ITV reality dating show although they were involved in one of the winter season's love triangles.
Bristolian host Maya Jama presided over a conversation between the trio but things soon got tense between Shaq and Martin, forcing the latter to "stutter" an apology on television after making 'disgusting' comments about Tanya during an appearance on the Reality podcast, The Mirror reports.

Shaq suggested Martin had degraded Tanya with his comments after he claimed he would be "f***ing your girls".
Speaking on the podcast, Martin claims he told Shaq: "On the outside out I would be f***ing your girls in ways you can't imagine."
He said he spoke to Shaq about a conversation he had with Tanya while still in the villa: "I told her she didn't love you and she didn't agree or disagree with that.
"He was crying that night and everyone thought he was crying because of the Movie Night, no he was crying because of what I told him."
During the Love Island reunion, Martin insisted his comments had been taken out of context. Maya was forced to jump in and stop the heated discussion as she said they could discuss the situation further after the show.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Shaq confronting Martin.
"Shaq and Tanya have every RIGHTT to be upset at Martin for talking about Tanya like that," one viewer insisted.
Another said: "Martin deserved more lashings but very glad tanya & shaq got him to stutter an apology on live TV," while a third wrote: "Martin is STUTTERING he is stressed."
Another suggested the group should now move on from the drama, saying: "This segment between #SHANYA & Martin was awkward to watch, hopefully they can all squash it now and live happily ever after."
