Love Island’s Scott Thomas shows off staggering results of 2.5 stone weight loss

Love Island's Scott Thomas has shown off the results of his jaw-dropping weight loss.

The 33-year-old made his debut on the ITV show in 2016 and came third with his then girlfriend Kady McDermott.

After his time in the spotlight, the brother of actors Ryan and Adam Thomas, decided he wanted to change his physique and launched a fitness business, Food4Thoughts.

Scott developed the passion project, which boasts a designated nutritional coach, with his schoolfriend.

Speaking about why he decided to change his body shape, he revealed: "I've always been very naturally skinny and known as the tall, lanky Thomas brother.

"On Love Island I did a crash course beforehand. OK, yes I got abs, but I was still lean and skinny.

"I decided I wanted to put on some size and bulk. It's been a goal of mine to do this and there's no better feeling now I've achieved it.

"Now I feel more manly. I've grown from a boy to a man."

Scott said he wanted to show the "skinny lads" that they can put on muscle, providing they have the right nutrition and guidance.

He also said he can still treat himself at restaurants, but he does it in a "much more balanced way".

The TV personality, who said he feels 'unstoppable when he's at his best' discussed his time on Love Island during a candid Instagram Q&A session last year.

After describing the experience as a "once in a lifetime opportunity", Scott was asked by one fan whether he any regrets about going on the show.

He said: “I’ve grown up so much since then.

“I was very much still a boy on that show who didn’t have much of a direction in life.

“Now I know exactly where I’m going and what I need to do.”

Scott's twin brother is Waterloo Road actor Adam.

In lovely news for the Thomas family, their brother Ryan revealed his daughter Scarlett would be playing her uncle's on-screen daughter in the BBC show.

Ryan shares Scarlett with Coronation Street actress, Tina O'Brien.

Adam broke the news on This Morning saying: : "I can't believe I'm actually saying this, I feel like I'm working for Marvel, but what I can tell you is that my little niece Scarlett Thomas is going to be joining the cast of Waterloo Road.

"She's playing my daughter on it. If you're a fan of the show, Donte and Chlo had a kid and she's now grown up. My brother's daughter gets to play my on-screen daughter."
