Love Island's Remi Lambert claims Jacques 'ruined' show for him but clashes weren't shown on screen

Remi Lambert has accused co-star Jacques O'Neill of 'ruining' his time on Love Island, claiming their clashes weren't shown on screen.

Mancunian model Remi has now been out of the villa for just over a week, having been sent packing when none of the girls chose him to pair up with in the dreaded recoupling. Days after his exit, he made a rather awkward appearance on Love Island spin-off show Aftersun, when Laura Whitmore was accused of 'humiliating' him during a live interview.

And now Remi has alleged that he and Jacques had a number of a squabbles in the villa that viewers had no idea about as they never appeared on the show. "There was of lot stuff that wasn't aired - a lot of stuff going on," Remi said while appearing as a guest on YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu.

"So basically, me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s**t. It ruined it for me."

When pushed to elaborate on what exactly happened, Remi added: ""People were saying, "It's because he's got a rugby persona' - but you can't treat people like that.

"He was just trying to get on to me." Remi claimed Jacques would even mimic his voice and say things like 'My name's Remi. I'm hard and I'm from Manny,' before alleging that Gemma Owen's ex had behaved in a similar way with other lads in the villa, continuing: ""It was so jarring but I was the only one to stick up for myself because he would always do that to people and I would just like stick it on him and say 'Shut up! "But yeah, we just got into a lot of fights and stuff."

Remi's accusations against Jacques comes as Jacques' ex Gemma clashed with Ekin-Su in a heated exchange set to air in full on Monday night's Love Island.
