Love Island star Remi said he had to warn Jacques to "stop" when he took "banter" too far in the villa.
Remi entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell but failed to couple up with anyone in his first week. He originally had his sights set on Indiyah but she dismissed his advances and stayed coupled up with Ikenna, forcing Remi to make a swift departure from the show.
In his exit interview, Remi was asked which islander he thinks is playing a game to which he immediately said, Jacques. Speaking on his time on the ITV series, Remi went on to say Jacques "gets brave for the cameras" and after multiple unaired issues, he was forced to ask him to stop. He said: "I don't know what's his problem but I don't know why he gets so brave on the cameras. It's annoying, man.

"It's literally just taking the mick out of everyone. Everyone says 'it's just banter' but it's banter to a certain point. If he constantly does something you're going to get annoyed so I gave him three strikes and when it got to the third strike I told him 'you've got to stop now."
He added: "It's not right, he's doing this to everyone else. It might be fine in rugby but you're on Love Island, I'm trying to find someone and [he's] just trying to cause a commotion."
In another interview for YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu, Remi said he had multiple arguments with Jacques but none of them ever made it to air. . He said: "There was of lot stuff that wasn't aired - a lot of stuff going on. Me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s**t."
When pressed about what the clashes were about, Remi said, "He was just trying to get on to me" before revealing the rugby player would constantly mimic his voice and say things like, "My name's Remi. I'm hard and I'm from Manny."
Remi added: "It was so jarring but I was the only one to stick up for myself because he would always do that to people and I would just like stick it on him and say 'Shut up!' But yeah, we just got into a lot of fights and stuff."
Jacques is currently coupled up with Paige but their relationship hit the rocks after he suggested she pursue other men in the villa. Upset with his behaviour, viewers watched Paige break down on Friday night's episode amid a recoupling that saw her paired with Jay.
