Love Island star Paige Thorne has addressed her split from Adam Collard for the first time and revealed she’s back in touch with ex Jacques O’Neill.
The couple’s romance came to an end just two months after they left the ITV2 villa together, amid allegations that the 26-year-old cheated on the paramedic.
Photos emerged of the fitness trainer with his arm around another woman inside a McDonald’s after a night out.
Collard was then pictured partying in Ibiza looking particularly close to another girl at a pool party.
In the wake of the photos, Thorne removed all traces of the Geordie from her social media but has only now confirmed the break-up.
Speaking on the Saving Grace podcast, she said: “I’m single – living my best life. No I’m kidding, it’s been a really s**t time.”
The 24-year-old claimed that Collard was “not friends” with the woman he was seen with in Ibiza and even alleged that there are more clips from the party.
She claimed: “It’s not just that video. There are other videos that people don’t know about of different people, on the same night, in different locations.
“At first, I was like, nah do you know what? It’s just an arm. I get that people get flirty. There’s nothing to it. If I’m in the club and a guy puts his arm around me, is it cheating? No.
“And then these other videos came out and I’m just like, ooh. Ooh, I can’t justify this.”
According to Thorne, the unseen videos show Collard and other women in “VIP toilets. Keep it classy, babe”.
When asked if there was a chance of the couple reconciling, Thorne said: “Absolutely not.”
She continued: “I mean, would you? Would you get back with someone like that? The videos speak for themselves. The ones everyone has seen and the ones only I’ve seen.”
While the couple’s romance is over, Thorne hinted at possibly rekindling her relationship with Jacques O’Neill – but is in “zero rush” to start dating again.
The pair were coupled up on the ITV2 dating show, but the Welsh beauty moved on with Collard after the rugby player quit the show to focus on his mental health.
Thorne said: “There has been slight contact. No contact with the lips. Let’s not forget how this boy done me in Casa [Amor].
“Obviously, we had a vibe in there. But he done me over. Dickhead. Fine. But we’re just going to see where things go. I am in zero rush to be with a man because men are trash.”
The Standard has contacted Adam Collard’s rep for comment.
