Love Island's Paige Thorne appears to snub Gemma Owen in Instagram live Q&A

Love Island star Paige Thorne has sparked rumours of a feud with fellow islander Gemma Owen during a Q&A on Instagram.

Paige and Gemma were two of Love Island fans' favourites during the popular ITV2 reality dating show this summer as they dazzled on our TV screens for eight weeks. Both entered the Spanish villa from the beginning with Paige being brutally dumped on the penultimate day to the grand final alongside returning bombshell Adam Collard.

Gemma went on to finish as runner-up with Luca Bish before Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who shared the £50,000 prize money. The two brunette bombshells seemed to have a close bond during their stint in Majorca but it appears as though their friendship has waned since returning to the UK.

The former paramedic, 25, was answering questions from her 1.4 million Instagram followers during a live Q&A session when she was asked who she still stayed in touch with from the villa. She replied with an image of her and Antigoni Buxton posing in front of a mirror while sharing the Instagram handles of the blonde bombshell, Dami Hope, Indiyah Polack and Tasha Ghouri.

She added: "All of them mostly! Have to remember everyone's super busy atm but I'm in touch with these guys the most."

Paige did not name Gemma and she took to Instagram Stories again on Wednesday as she shared a sweet video alongside Tasha with the caption: "Every brunette needs a blonde." The Welsh star then posted video with another islander, this time with Danica Taylor, as she teased about filming an upcoming project.

The pair posed for the camera before she spun the camera around to the busy production crew, which also included a piano with two microphones lying on top of it. Paige is heard saying: "Filming something exciting!"

Despite failing to reach the final of Love Island, Paige has still managed to rake in a six-figure fashion deal since leaving the villa. She signed with global fashion brand Forever Unique in her first ever collaboration in August.

Owned by Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra, the brand is said to have loved Paige since her first episode, saying she was a “perfect fit”. Paige said: “This is a real pinch me moment, I can’t believe I have my very own collection with a brand I’ve loved for years!"

She added: "I love that Forever Unique offers wardrobe staples that last a lifetime. I wanted my collection to be a considered purchase, using high quality materials and taking me out of my comfort zone."
