The original Love Island villa in Majorca has sold for a whopping £3 million.
The five-bedroom property which housed the cast of the first two seasons of the hit ITV show has been snapped up.
The huge property that boasts a beach-style outdoor pool has been on the market for nearly a year but was bought two weeks ago.
A source told The Sun : "It was taken off the market about two weeks ago. It sold for near its asking price.”
The mansion overlooks stunning sea views off Majorca's southern coast.
As well as five bedrooms, it has the same number of bathrooms and a whirlpool in the garden.
For the chillier months it has underfloor heating and a balcony terrace ideal for sunbathing.
Love Island bosses are currently on the hunt for a new villa for the 2022 series after wanting a change of scenery from the current pad.
ITV boss Kevin Lygo told PA Media: “We didn’t own it, we rented it, and we are choosing a new house for this summer so that is all secrecy. It is going to be marvellous.
The source added: "ITV bosses think this is the right moment to refresh this element of the show, just as they did in series three back in 2017.
"Bosses are conscious of the fact that this is also an opportunity to consider all the new elements they could introduce to enhance the show even further."
Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde won the second season of the show in 2016 before returning to the villa two years later to get engaged.
The couple, who have two children Delilah and Freddie, went back to the villa on holiday where Nathan popped the question.
Speaking at the time, Nathan said: "I brought Cara back to where we met and took her on a little treasure hunt around the villa to different places which meant something to us.
“Finally, I blindfolded her, led her to the pool and got down on one knee.”
The dating show used the property for the 2015 and 2016 Love Island before moving to a new spot in Sant Llorenc des Cardassar.
The new property will still have the famous firepit and swimming pool and is expected to be revealed when the show returns.
It's also been claimed that it's not just the villa that will be new, the show is also looking to sign a new presenter.
Laura Whitmore replaced Caroline Flack in January 2020, just a month before the star took her own life.
Bosses are allegedly discussing potential new names to present, including former Love Islander Maura Higgins, AJ Odudu and Maya Jama.
However, ITV representatives branded the claims "completely untrue".
