Grossed out Love Island viewers have had their wishes come true and are now getting their popcorn on standby, after calling on producers to drop the 'stupid' challenges and make Movie Night happen.
Movie Night caused no end of drama last year when Islanders, who thought they were sitting down to watch a film as a treat, instead were shown a series of incriminating things that had happened in the villa and Casa Amor that they weren't aware of. Major fireworks flew between Faye Winter and Teddy Soares as they were each confronted with things that had gone on behind each other's backs, leading to a blazing row which left their relationship in tatters, while viewers were delighted to see Jake Cornish finally exposed for urging the other boys to cheat.
This week has been a dramatic one for Love Island 's new series with Adam Collard arriving back on the show as the latest bombshell, Jacques O'Neill quitting and six Islanders' future in the villa hanging in the balance after the latest public vote.

But, rather than Movie Night potentially stirring things up even more, instead viewers saw the contestants compete in the Lips Inn challenge, which saw the boys take on the girls, with them basically pretending to 'wee' into a urinal with a hosepipe.
Many fans weren't impressed, arguing that the time could have been devoted to Movie Night or the show's infamous Twitter challenge, where Islanders have to work out who different tweets are about. One posted: "What the flip is this? They could have done twitter challenge, movie night, snog memory avoid, I don’t know anything and they have done a wee challenge."
An equally annoyed second viewer ranted: "I wanted movie night not them p**sing with a hose," with another tweeting: "No you did not understand the assignment @LoveIsland. We wanted scandal, not hose urinating into a urinal."
On Friday afternoon it was confirmed in an ITV teaser that Movie Night was happening. Gemma gets a text which reads: “It’s time to get glam and hit the red carpet as you attend Mad Movies the premiere! #SpillThePopcorn #ITV2andChill”
After hearing the news, Ekin-Su says to Davide: “If we pass this we’re fine.”
