Love Island 2023 contestant Molly Marsh has revealed that she never felt under pressure to undergo any cosmetic surgeries or procedures amid hopes of becoming a role model to teenagers across the nation.
In the past, several former Love Island stars admitted to having work done before making their debut on the ITV2 dating show - from boob jobs to veneers to extreme weight loss.
However, influencer Molly, 24, doesn't feel the need to change herself in order to be liked by the public.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press ahead of her villa debut on Monday June 5, Molly said that the most important thing for her is being a role model for her younger sister, 15, and being authentic on the show in order to find her best possible love match.
"I'm very strong on the opinion of don't change yourself for anything or anyone.
"I don't or never have felt pressure to do so. I want to be a role model for my sister more than anything. And for my younger followers.
"Growing up and seeing people change what they look like - especially in the villa because they may feel that's what pretty is. I just want people to know that it's okay to just be yourself and to embrace that.
"That's what is beautiful to me. Being natural is beautiful. I've never had anything to change what I look like. I don't think I ever will - I wouldn't want to."
Molly also confessed to The Mirror that she has got the biggest crush on none other than Joe Swash.
The blonde beauty is envious of Stacey Solomon's happily married life with the former EastEnders star and is hoping to find someone with the same 'energy' and personality as Joe when she walks into the famous Love Island villa.
Molly, who is the daughter of Coronation Street star, Janet Marsh, is a huge fan of Joe because he appears so down to earth and 'doesn't have a big ego' like a lot of men in the industry who have found much success.
Lifting the lid on her crush on the former Mickey Miller actor, Molly said: "I think looks wise, it kind of comes from their personality because I don't really have a type looks wise.
"I love a cheeky chap. I like someone like Joe Swash - so someone with a 'jack the lad' type of humour and a cheeky guy with a nice smile. He needs to be very down to earth and not think too much of himself. Not someone with a big ego.
"And also someone who takes me for me. Someone who accepts me for me."
While Joe is her ideal man, Molly also confessed to having a longtime crush on one former Love Island star.
After watching the 2019 series, with Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, Molly developed a huge crush on Teddy Soares - who has recently broken up Faye Winter who he feel head over heels for in the villa.
Lifting the lid on who she would have coupled up with if she were on a different series, Molly didn't hesitate to say Teddy's name.
"There's a few! I feel like every year when you watch it, I have my list of exactly what I would have done. My family also always guess," Molly shared.
"I absolutely loved Teddy - he was beautiful and seemed so kind. I also really liked Ron from the last season, so I would have probably couple-up up with him.
Opening up about possibly finding love in the villa, Molly admitted that she thinks it's the perfect way for her to find a boyfriend because she likes the old-fashioned way of dating - face-to-face instead of online dating.
"I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone. I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps, I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone than by going into a Villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.
"With my job being in social media, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to go on press trips and I’ve actually been out to the Love Island Villas in Mallorca and South Africa."
Molly is a performer and has travelled the country appearing in pantos including Oliver! and Sleeping Beauty.
She is also an influencer on Instagram, boasting 27,000 followers on her popular handle @mollygracemarsh.
