Love Island's Molly Marsh desperate hunt for fame EXPOSED as she's dubbed 'ITV plant'

Love Island's Molly Marsh has been accused of being an ' ITV mole' after her fame before the show has been exposed.

The panto performer, 21, who is the daughter of Coronation Street actress, Janet Marsh, has already made quite an impact on the ITV2 show.

Some fans have applauded her debut, however after finding old photos of Molly taken in the villa, other's think she's an "insider."

Sharing a snap of the Islander taken previously on set of the reality show with the caption: "Who's ready for Casa Amor?", one fan said: "Molly has worked with love island before. Loads of content like this on her socials."

Another viewer shared a photo of her with Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague at a Pretty Little Thing launch, musing: "I saw this pic on insta … idk if it’s real (or what the story is behind it)."

Fans were quick to react to the photos, with one suggesting: "Knew from one day one she was an industry plant" while another said: "Sorry, Molly is giving ITV production plant."

Molly has built up a career as an influencer and presenter and was invited to the Love Island set and the Britain's Got Talent studio on press trips.

She was also almost cast in a Channel 4 soap, according to her mum, who told The Sun : “Molly would love to be on a soap. She did an audition recently for Ackley Bridge and was at the final stages."

However, Molly's links with Love Island seem to run deeper than first thought after a TikTok of her claiming she once dated Islander Tommy Fury have emerged.

Three years ago, the then teenager is asked: "You dated Tommy Fury before he went on Love Island?".

In time with the music, Molly sheepishly responds "yeah" as she suggestively strokes her face.

She does the same thing when asked "You are still in touch with each other.....".

Then, as the question "You are Molly Mae are still good friends now?" flashes up, she pauses, raises her eyebrows and then stares into the camera before cheekily saying "What, now?".

Molly finds herself at the centre of more drama tonight on the show as a feud appears to heat up between two Islanders after a shock kiss.

Jess will take aim at the "f***ing theatre actress", as she gets to know bombshell Zachariah after sharing a smooch.

•Love Island is on ITV2 tonight at 9pm
