Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague devastated as her cat fights for life after being hit by a car

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has appealed to drivers to look for cats in the road after her beloved pet was hit by a car.

The reality TV star says she's praying for her 'little man' after he was badly injured and told her Instagram followers she would be 'absolutely devastated' if he doesn't pull through.

Appealing on her Instagram stories she shared a photo of her injured pet and an adorable video clip of her holding him as a kitten.

She wrote with crying emojis: "My poor baby."

Molly-Mae went on to explain: "Had the worst news that my cat was hit by a car today.

"Please look for cats in the road when you're driving and be so careful.

"I'll be absolutely devastated if he doesn't make it. Praying for my little man."

Molly-Mae, 20, shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show Love Island last summer, finding love with boxer Tommy Fury.

Social influencer Molly-Mae and Tommy, who are both from Manchester, went on to come in second place after winners Amber Gill and and Greg O'Shea who have since split.

Last month she announced she would be donating all proceeds from her latest Pretty Little Thing collection to mental health charity Mind in respect of the late Love Island host Caroline Flack.

She said: "We have decided to donate 100 per cent of the profits of our latest edit together to @Mindcharity. Launching today, the donations will help Mind provide advice and support to anyone experiencing mental health problems.

"PrettyLittleThing and I will continue to support this matter which is close to our hearts. Please from the bottom of my heart remember, Always Be Kind."

She previously said that having her own PLT collection was "absolutely a dream come true" because she had studied fashion for two years in London before becoming an influencer.

"I've had a very, very large input in the collection and I went to PLT with a very strong idea of what I wanted," she said.
