Molly-Mae Hague has admitted she was 'not prepared' for motherhood in a candid exchange on social media.
The Love Island star and boyfriend Tommy Fury welcomed their baby girl Bambi in January and have been updating fans frequently on their parenting journey. The couple, both 23, met on the ITV2 dating show in 2019.
Molly, who recently celebrated her first Mother's Day since welcoming Bambi, opened up on how she's adapted to motherhood and how having a child has affected her relationship with Tommy. During an Instagram Q&A session, the influencer was asked: "Is having a baby harder than you imagined?"
Molly responded: "Yes 100% yes. I’m not going to beat around the bush… I was not prepared. She’s completely and utterly worth it all though. Every single hard moment!"
The former reality star was also asked: "I hear people say all the time that a baby changes your relationships. Is it true for you?" She replied: "Yes… it’s made us one million times stronger."
She continued: "Having a baby is all about teamwork, we are still figuring it out together, but we are really lucky that becoming parents has only affected our relationship positively."
During her pregnancy, fans of the couple were left concerned for Molly after she admitted to struggling being apart from Tommy as he travelled a lot for his boxing commitments.
But the worries of fans will have been firmly put to rest as Tommy went all out for the doting mum in a sweet Mother's Day surprise as they marked their first as parents. The mum-of-one was greeted with multiple pots of roses, which all led into a balloon archway encircling a huge sign, which read: ‘Happy Mother’s Day Mama’.
