Love Island contestant Mehdi Edno has revealed his biggest ick when it comes to the ladies - and it's a rather unusual one at that.
The 2023 hopeful, who hails from France, is hoping to use his French language skills to impress the other Islanders in the villa.
However, he won't be focusing solely on locks to find his new partner - and there's one personality trait that will turn him off right away.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press ahead of his Love Island debut, Mehdi revealed that there's nothing he hates more than when a girl he fancies talks in a 'squeaky baby voice'.
Admitting that his dream girl is someone just like former islander Maura Higgins, 32, Mehdi said that he's in search of a strong, independent, and fiery woman who will put him in his place and let him know when he's in the strong - not someone who is clingy and uses a baby voice to try and get what they want.
"A huge turn-off for me is when a girl uses a baby voice or someone who acts dumb. I like having serious conversations with the person I'm with and having debates at times, so my partner needs to be able to engage," Mehdi shared. "
"Looks are important but they aren’t everything, a good sense of humour and someone who is outgoing and up for an adventure is what I’m looking for."
Asked if he's now ready find love, he added: "Yes. I’ve been busy for the last few years with work, and doing my Masters degree but now I’m done with the busy schedule, and ready to find love."
Opening up about what he finds attractive about British women compared to French women, Mehdi explained that he can tell straight off the bat if a girl is English because of their makeup and fake tan - but it's an aspect that he finds attractive and loves.
"There's just something about British women - I don't know how to explain it," Mehdi said.
Love Island kicks off on Monday June 5 on ITV2 and ITVX.
