Love Island's Maya Jama stuns in cut-out lace dress as she reveals huge twist minutes in

Maya Jama's fans won't be disappointed when they see what she's wearing on Love Island tonight.

The new series kicks off with a bunch of new hopefuls all looking to find love.

Maya, 28, has become a firm fan favourite after taking over hosting duties from Laura Whitmore with all eyes on her scene-stealing outfits.

And tonight's debut does not dissapoint as a teaser has revealed the first look at Maya rocking up to the famous compound in a stunning cream, cut-out crocheted dress.

As she swans into the villa, the Bristol-born presenter looks phenomenal as she shakes her raven mane before making a shock announcement on the series' twist.

Announcing she's "got some news", Maya reveals the decision of who the Islanders will couple up with has already been made for them by the public.

The contestants looks stunned as model Ella Thomas, muses: “I don’t know what to expect!”

Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, Maya teased the shock twist, saying: "A very big surprise is that the public has all the power.

"For the first episode, you guys are going to decide who couples up. You vote and then we listen.

"It's a big decision to make, as soon as you see them."

For the first time ever, both boys and girls enter the villa as Ruchee Gurung and Jess Harding are joined by Mitchell Taylor, Ella and André Furtado as they get to know each other in one of the show's most flirtatious first episodes ever.

As Maya asks the girls what they're looking for in a partner, Ella explains: “Looks wise, I’d say tall with nice teeth.”

Beautician Ruchee agrees, adding: “Height, fashion-sense and someone I can bring home to my family because I’m so family-orientated.”

Maya has issued a warning to the latest batch of Love Islanders, telling them: “Don’t fall in love on the first day.”

The presenter – who is rumoured to have reignited her romance with grime star Stormzy after their split in 2019 – said her advice would be to play the field.

Speaking to the Mirror, she said: “When they lock themselves up right away, I’m like, ‘No, you’ve got so much time, know everybody’.

“Don’t fall in love on the first day. But if you do, fantastic, you might just end up making it to the end.

“Me, personally, I wouldn’t lock down with somebody on the first day. I would keep my options open.”

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
