Love Island's Maya Jama steals 'the moment' in daring dress as she gives 'ultimate dare'

Love Island's Maya Jama has already got pulses racing after just one episode as she wowed in a daring floor length dress.

The presenter, 28, has kicked off the latest series of the popular ITV2 dating show with a bunch of new hopefuls all looking to find love.

During the debut episode on Monday night, Maya rocked up to the famous villa to deliver the "ultimate dare" but caught attention with her bold fashion choice.

She stunned in a cut-out blue dress, which exposed her toned abs and incredible curves.

Maya kept her long dark hair in loose waves as it cascaded down her back as she swanned into the villa where she dared the girls to step forward if they thought they were with wrong person, with Jess and Ruchee taking on the dare.

They were then introduced to new Islander Zachariah, who has 24 hours to steal any girl.

Yet many viewers were too occupied by Maya as one wrote: "MAYA IS THE MOMENT!!"

"Nah look at Maya??????," another gushed as someone else said: "MAYA IM IN LOVE WITH YOU."

"When maya walks in she looksssss bangingggg," added a fourth as another joked: "Maya got me thinking she’s the bombshell."

Maya has become a firm fan favourite after taking over hosting duties from Laura Whitmore with all eyes on her scene-stealing outfits.

Elsewhere on the episode, Maya didn't disappoint as she entered the villa in a stunning cream, cut-out crocheted dress.

The Bristol-born presenter looked phenomenal as she shook her raven mane before making a shock announcement on the series' twist.

Announcing she's "got some news", Maya reveals the decision of who the Islanders will couple up with has already been made for them by the public.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain before the series started, Maya teased the shock twist, saying: "A very big surprise is that the public has all the power.

"For the first episode, you guys are going to decide who couples up. You vote and then we listen.

"It's a big decision to make, as soon as you see them."

For the first time ever, both boys and girls entered the villa together as Ruchee Gurung and Jess Harding were joined by Mitchell Taylor, Ella and André Furtado as they got to know each other in one of the show's most flirtatious first episodes ever.

Maya has issued a warning to the latest batch of Love Islanders, telling them: “Don’t fall in love on the first day.”

The presenter – who is rumoured to have reignited her romance with grime star Stormzy after their split in 2019 – said her advice would be to play the field.

Speaking to the Mirror, she said: “When they lock themselves up right away, I’m like, ‘No, you’ve got so much time, know everybody’.

“Don’t fall in love on the first day. But if you do, fantastic, you might just end up making it to the end.

“Me, personally, I wouldn’t lock down with somebody on the first day. I would keep my options open.”

Love Island airs on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
