Bristol's Maya Jama returned to screens tonight (February 3), leaving viewers lost for words. The Love Island host stunned contestants as she walked into the villa at the end of the show.
Maya announced earlier this week that she was returning to South Africa but speculation grew on exactly when she would appear again on ITV2. Although it was brief, it's fair to say her much-anticipated appearance went down well with viewers.
Before asking the contestants to gather by the fire pit, Maya announced: "Hello lovelies - surprise! Did you miss me?"

She continued: "I've got some very important news. Boys, tonight is not your night. The public has been voting for their favourite boy. As the newest boys in the villa, Casey and Jordan are exempt from the vote.
"Can the rest of you boys please stand up. Four boys have been saved by the public, the remaining boys are at risk of being dumped tonight.
"I'm now going to reveal the four boys that are safe and will remain on the Island." She went on to announced that Will, Shaq, Tom and Ron were saved by the public vote.
This left Spencer, Aaron and Kai as vulnerable contestants. Two of them will leave the show on Sunday's episode. Love Island fans swept onto Twitter to express their delight about seeing Maya Jama back on the show. Some were more interested in her appearance than the contestants.

Some fans were even calling for her before she appeared on screens. @alexstanger1993 said: "I think everyone's waiting for @MayaJama tonight #LoveIsland." @DeolindaRafael put: "When is @MayaJama showing up? I’m bored again."
