The Love Island presenter wrote a mysterious message on Instagram before leaving for a girls' getaway, telling her 2.6 million fans she planned to enjoy life. While winking for a selfie, held up a beverage while on board a flight and wrote: "I said this year was gna be for work, enjoyment and happiness. Only if it's not making me feel good I don't want it."
Maya has been travelling back and forth between the UK and South Africa during filming for Love Island. She not only hosts the main programme but is also the face of ITV2's spin-off series Aftersun. In her four days free between filming for Love Island, she immediately took off again after showing her incredible figure on Aftersun last night (February 6) in a pair of lighter blue straight leg pants and silver strappy heels.
In an Instagram story, she said: "Me and the girlies are off. I had about four days off and I thought, 'F*** it, let's go on holiday." She then broke out into song, before adding: "The other girls are meeting us there, so were off." The presenter was accompanied by her friend and makeup artist Letitia Sophia.

The news comes after Maya's ex, NBA star Ben Simmons, has recently been rumoured to have moved on after the pair reportedly split last year. The athlete, who lives in the US, was spotted with Baby Driver actress Eiza González on February 3 as they got dinner in New York City.
Ben was previously engaged to Bristolian bombshell Maya, 28, who landed the hottest job on TV as the new host of Love Island. Ben and Maya were first romantically linked in May 2021 and made it official at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships two months later, where they shared a kiss.
Maya spent Christmas 2021 on the other side of the pond at Ben's £3.7million mansion in Moorestown, New Jersey. It was then that Ben got down on one knee and popped the question to Maya, with the former Cotham School pupil spotted with a glistening £800,000 diamond ring on her finger shortly after.
In August 2022, just over a year since Maya and Ben made their relationship official and around eight months after Maya said "yes", rumours began to swirl that the couple had called it quits. A source told The Sun at the time that Maya and Ben had decided to end their relationship due to their conflicting work schedules.
