Love Island star Lucinda Strafford has reportedly split from her footballer boyfriend once again, after the pair tried and failed to make it work following her time on the dating show.
The 22-year-old social media influencer dated Middlesbrough loanee Aaron Connolly, also 22, before going on the ITV2 series and they later rekindled when she left the villa.
They have been together on and off for two years, but according to a source, things have finally come to an end for the couple.
It's claimed their loves ones thought they would be able to give things another go - but it didn't work out.
"Everyone thought Lucinda and Aaron would make a real go of things this time round," they told The Sun.
"Aaron was pretty cut up when she decided to do Love Island but they moved on from it and seemed stronger than ever."
The source concluded: "In the end they just couldn't make it work and have decided it would be better for both of them if they remained single."
The pair have already unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Lucinda sparked split rumours when she was quizzed by fans about her relationship status and revealed she was "loving me, myself and I".
The couple dated for around two years before splitting in 2021, when Aaron cheated on her, according to reports.
The pair reconciled shortly before Lucinda's Love Island stint, and reportedly even "argued" about her going on the show in a bid to boost her online fashion business.
It's claimed they were still close while she was in the villa, with Aaron dog-sitting for her back home.
Lucinda denied they were still secretly together after she was dumped from the show - but shortly after, she confirmed the pair were back on.
"I am completely and utterly single. Never in a million years would I go on Love Island if I was in a relationship, and I'm sure if I had a boyfriend, he wouldn't be very happy with it either," she explained.
"We ended quite dramatically at the start of March but then we made friends."
She defiantly added: "Hopefully, he's moved on and I definitely have."
