Love Island's Luca removes mic and storms out of villa after heated Gemma row

Love Island 's Gemma Owen and Luca Bish clashed in the latest episode, just as a dumping was looming ahead of the final next week.

It led to Luca storming out of the villa and removing his microphone pack, as Gemma called him out to the other Islanders for his behaviour.

During the latest challenge, the girls got saucy with the villa boys including those they were not paired up with.

Each girl was dressed as an air hostess, and was tasked with preparing the boys for departure - and things got a little raunchy.

As the girls put on cheeky performances, one moment saw Gemma licking Adam Collard's chest and Andrew Le Page's neck as she passed each boy.

Luca was clearly not impressed and was shown shoving Gemma when she turned to him, and he also tried to ruin her performance, before admitting in the Beach Hut he wasn't keen on seeing her licking other guys.

Adam then claimed he saw the girls including Gemma being "straight faced" over the boys enjoying Paige Thorne's performance.

When the boys quizzed Luca about Gemma seeming annoyed, Luca downplayed his own reaction and suggested it was Gemma who had the issue.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Indiyah Polack were quick to tell Gemma what they saw back at the villa, leading to a confrontation between the couple.

As Gemma caught up with the girls, Ekin-Su said to her: "Was it me or was I seeing that Luca was being a bit weird? Like when he was... when you were dong your challenge."

Indiyah agreed, and told Gemma: "He was just a little bit of a baby."

Gemma didn't seem happy about it, and responded to the girls: "It's really not that deep but if he's gonna be a p***k over it, then he can do one."

She then spoke to Luca and said: "You can sit here and say you're not in a mood... you're in a mood."

Luca quipped back: "No, I'm not in a mood," to which Gemma replied: "Luca don't play thick."

As he repeated: "Gem, I'm not in a mood," she replied: "You were pushing me off, had a face like a slapped a**... are you 12?!"

Luca accused her of looking into every word he was saying (ITV)

Luca then dropped himself in it, as he told her: "It's obviously not nice to see, but it's a challenge so I can't exactly stay annoyed at you for it, it was just literally..."

Gemma then interrupted: "So you can't exactly 'stay' annoyed at me for it? So you were annoyed at it?"

Luca accused her of looking into every word he was saying, and as she repeated her questions he said: "F**k off Gem," adding he wasn't in the mood.

He suddenly got up mid chat and said: "It's doing my head in," before taking his mic off and heading out of the villa.

As he stormed off and refused to listen to Gemma, she called out to him before saying: "Well that went well..."

Gemma then filled the other Islanders in on what had happened, and suggested he was annoyed because he knew she was right about him - and the fact he came across "protective" during the challenge.

Luca did eventually return to the villa, and they initially didn't speak to each other, as the girls urged Gemma to wait for Luca to go to her.

The pair eventually did speak alone, but things remained tense as they disagreed with one another.

Gemma said he was being "dramatic" and that they "weren't getting anywhere", leading to Luca saying he didn't want to be in a relationship if they were going to have the "stupid chats".

He asked her if she wanted to be with him, to which she said: "Well obviously."

But as dumping news hit the villa, fans heard him comment: "Let’s just hope this text does us both a favour."

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
