Love Island star Luca Bish has finally made things official with Gemma Owen after asking her to be his girlfriend in a romantic ceremony.
In a clip shared by Luca on his Instagram page and captioned “Finally”, the 23-year-old could be seen guiding Gemma through a corridor filled with red roses and candles as live music played. The pair then approached a swimming pool, where the words ‘Be My Girlfriend’ were spelled out with balloons on the water.
Luca also presented 19-year-old Gemma with a Cartier bangle, and the star couldn’t stop beaming as she embraced Luca. Gemma shared pictures of the romantic scene on her own Instagram page, writing: “Finally official [heart emoji]. Thank you @lucabish for such a special night!”

Fellow stars of the ITV dating show were quick to congratulate the pair on taking their relationship to the next level, with winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu writing: “Luca did well. Congratulations.”
Ikenna Ekwonna added: “Omg FINALLY guys!” while Andrew Le Page said: “About time”.
Gemma recently revealed that Luca had had an “intense” first meeting with her dad, football star Michael Owen. The meeting had taken place as Luca accompanied Gemma and her family on holiday to Portugal.
“For the first meeting it was quite an intense environment - ‘You're meeting my dad, let's do it on holiday”,” she admitted. “But it couldn’t have gone better. They seem to get on really well. It was all really good.”
Gemma has reason to celebrate in her professional life as well as her personal one, having recently signed a six-figure deal with fashion giant PrettyLittleThing . The star described the year-long partnership as a “dream come true” and said that she was “excited to get to work” designing new clothing lines under the brand.
