Luca Bish has been reflecting on his time in the Love Island villa and has admitted he went "too far" with comments he made about Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page 's relationship.
During his time on the ITV2 dating show, fans accused Luca of "bullying" Tasha after she was left in tears when he pied her in a challenge and made "nasty" remarks. Luca had also accused her of playing a game with 27-year-old Andrew.
Since leaving the villa, the 23-year-old fishmonger has watched the show back and said he has since apologised to Tasha, 24.
"With my controlling behaviour it took me watching it back to realise what I had done.
"But with the Tasha situation, I realised I took it too far whilst I was still in there," Luca told Grazia.
He added: "When you've got a girl crying, I realised I was wrong. For once in my life, I thought - you need to shut up now, your opinions aren't needed."
Luca said his behaviour really "hit home" when his parents came into the villa and told him he was wrong in his approach.
Tasha seems to have forgiven him now, as they recently enjoyed a day out with Andrew and Gemma Owen.
Luca was also accused of displaying "controlling behaviour" towards his partner Gemma while in the villa, with some fans calling on the 19-year-old to dump him.
He said he can now "hold my hands up" and agree with fan criticism. Luca insisted he doesn't behave like that on the outside world.
He explained that emotions ran high after being made to do challenges by producers and seeing someone he was falling in love with getting to know new bombshells.
Luca said: "Obviously, your emotions would be heightened and everything’s so intense in there."
Gemma and Luca have discussed his behaviour in the show, with Luca saying Gemma is a "strong woman" who would "never let herself be lost in a situation like that".
The pair recently went on holiday to Portugal with Gemma's family, with Luca finally meeting her footballer dad Michael Owen. Luca was seen sitting next to the former Liverpool striker as they enjoyed a family meal abroad.
