Love Island's Liam reveals grim living room after leaving mansion he shared with Millie

Liam Reardon has given fans a glimpse of his bleak living arrangements after moving out of the £1million mansion he shared with his ex-girlfriend Millie Court.

The Love Island stars won the show in 2021, but announced their separation in July. Liam moved back to his hometown in Wales following the split, but has since moved in to his own apartment in Essex to be close to friends.

It seems to have taken the 23-year-old some time to make his new place a home and he took to Instagram on Thursday to show fans his strange living room set-up.

In the snap, Liam has used an ironing board as a dining table as he ate dinner alone.

The Welsh heartthrob had a foldaway chair to sit on and decorated the room with a solitary candle.

Alongside the photo, he wrote: "So this is how I was eating dinner for a while until my arm chair arrived.

"Now I eat on my lap lol. Laugh all you want but I think it's quite creative. My dining table arrives tomorrow and my beds and sofa come in 3 weeks' time."

He added: "Currently been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for the last 4 weeks. It's not ideal but it's all part of the process. I'll get there in the end."

Liam also opened up about how he has been coping after his relationship broke down, admitting he has struggled to come to terms with how the public view him following their shock break-up.

After Millie and Liam decided to call it quits, rumours quickly circulated that Liam had cheated on Millie. The 25-year-old ASOS model has hit out at the rumours and urged her followers to "not believe" the claims.

Sharing a photo of himself from this summer on his Instagram Story, Liam penned: "It's been a difficult few months, with moving from my home in Essex to moving back to Wales and now back living back in Essex on my own.

"Break-ups can be very hard and being in the public eye just make it that extra bit more difficult to deal with especially when you have rumours etc coming out and people judging your character off something which isn't true.

"But I've been down and when you're down you can either stay down or do what you can to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move forward. And that's what I'm doing.

"Just want to say love to all you guys who follow and support me, especially over these past few months it means the world."
