Love Island and Celebs Go Dating star Liam Reardon has opened up about his love life. The reality television star, who hails from Merthyr, got candid after he was quizzed about his relationship status on Instagram.
Liam, who rose to fame on Love Island 2021, announced his split from co-star Millie Court last summer, just one year after the pair won the popular ITV2 dating show. Since then the 23-year-old has appeared on Celebs Go Dating where he shared details on the break-up and said Millie was the "perfect" girlfriend.
Fast forward a few months and Liam has discussed his relationship status after being quizzed by fans on Instagram. It comes after Liam, who boasts nearly one million followers on the platform, asked his followers for a catch-up.

Liam was asked: "How was the Celebs Go Dating experience and are you back together with your ex?" To which he responded: "My experience of Celebs Go Dating was really fun, I met some really lovely people and come away with some real good friends. In regards to my dates they were all lovely women but nothing happened we are just friends."
Asked if he was single, Liam wrote: "Yes I very much am. I'm not looking for anyone or anything right now. Happy giving all my time to myself."
He candidly added: "Second half of last year was a real tough one. Had a great start to this year and really looking forward to a great year with friends/family and working hard towards news things."
Liam's update comes after he opened up about his split from Millie to Celebs Go Dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson at the end of last year. He said: "In the villa, everything was stripped back, you've just got each other, and I fell in love with Millie, for everything that I was seeing and we kind of just went from strength to strength."
Paul then pressed Liam on what happened, to which he responded: "I moved straight from Wales to Essex to be with Millie, leaving all my family and friends. The life I did have is now almost not there."
Asked what his year had been like, Liam explained: "It's been a rollercoaster, I went from a small life in Wales, being a bricklayer - to being catapulted into this new life and I found it difficult. You're trying to give 100% to each other, you're trying to give 100% to yourself, you're trying to give 100% to this new life and career and it's hard to juggle everything at once."
"Why did you break up and who broke up with who?" Paul then asked, to which Liam replied: "I instigated it because if we want to be together, I want to be 100% together.
"For me to love her, I need to love myself and for the past few months, I've been a bit... I need to find myself a bit again. Just never say never, in the future, we could rekindle."
Liam then said they were both "upset" over the breakup, before adding: "You know it's one of those things, you've had such an amazing experience together and you don't want it to end, it's a tricky one."
"It sounds like there's a lot of love there still for Millie and a lot of respect," Laura said, "100%," Liam responded. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
