Love Island's Liam Llewellyn 'quits' show as news of shock announcement leaks

Love Island is set to have its first big drama of the new series with rumours that Liam Llewellyn has left the villa after stunning his co-stars with his decision.

Welsh masters student Liam has quickly become a fan favourite with viewers of the ITV2 dating show. After the public voted for him to be paired up with Michael Owen's daughter Gemma in the first coupling up of the 2022 run, Liam found himself being given the cold shoulder by Gemma, as she turned her attentions to late arrival Davide.

Since then, Newport lad Liam, 22, has gone on dates with the first Love Island bombshells of the new run, Ekin-Su and Afia, as well as coming dangerously close to exposing who Gemma's famous dad is, when he quizzed her on her second name.

But, it looks like we might well see the last of Liam on Friday night as it's been confirmed by The Sun that he has gathered his fellow Islanders around the infamous fire pit to deliver a major announcement.

"Whatever Liam tells the Islanders, there’s nothing like a fire pit announcement for high drama - it has to be something huge," a source has revealed to The Sun.

The insider added: "The reasons behind it are unknown so viewers will be glued to their screens tonight to find out."
