Love Island's Liam Llewellyn plans to impress Islanders with hidden talent

Love Island 2022 contestant Liam Llewellyn has revealed he has a few tricks up his sleeve in order to impress the girls this year.

The 22-year-old masters student from Newport in South Wales will be moving into the brand new Spanish villa next week and will be hoping to couple up with one of the ladies.

Asked if he has any hidden talents that will help him find love, Liam told The Mirror and other press: "I mean I can hula hoop. I'm a very good hula hooper. I'm good with my hips, I'd say!"

Speaking about his fears and what he's worried most about happening in Majorca, Liam said: "Everyone wants to feel wanted, don't they? So I'm putting myself in a position where it's going to be all eyes on that so probably the feeling of not being wanted.

"No one wants to be the last pick, do they?" he added just days before heading into the plus new Love Island villa.

However, Liam hasn't had much experience when it comes to dating women in the past.

"I’ve only had one or two dates! I don’t really date, I just go out and meet girls," he revealed.

"I’m not messaging girls like, 'I want to take you out, I want to do this, I want to do that'. I meet girls naturally. If I want to see them again, I just go and see them."

Liam admitted that he's good with his hips and a hula hoop (ITV)

He's also not bothered about treading on toes during his time on the ITV2 reality show.

Asked if he's competitive, he simply replied: "So competitive - but I try to think about other people's feelings at the same time!

"If I can see two people who are absolutely made for each other, I’m not going to try and ruin it for them.

Love Island 2022 kicks off on Monday 6 June at 9pm on ITV2 (ITV)

"I don’t want to create any bad tension between a couple but if I can see someone uncertain or unhappy, or not really sure what they want and I think I’m better suited to that person, then yeah, happily, no problem at all!" Liam added.

He also revealed that he has a tendency to wear his heart on his sleeve and is quite a caring person.

"I wear my heart on my sleeve, I can’t hide how I feel about anyone. I’m probably quite emotional as well come to think about it," Liam admitted.

*Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 6th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
