Love Island's Liam Llewellyn has revealed he was hospitalised overnight with an unknown issue and forced to cancel his work appointments as a result. The 22-year-old shared a statement on social media.
Liam, who hails from Newport, explained he would be cancelling his appearances in Ireland this weekend as he will "not be fit to fly".
In a statement shared with his 348K Instagram followers, Liam wrote: "Hey guys, just jumping on to let you know that I was hospitalised last night so I will not be fit to fly. Because of this I will not be in Bandon or Riverstick Cork, Ireland this weekend. I'll be in Cork on the 23rd and 24th, apologies for the inconvenience but will catch you soon."

Liam, who is the son of Welsh rugby international David Llewellyn, joined Love Island 2022 in the original line-up. However, the Welsh contestant decided to quit the show after a week telling his fellow Islanders he hadn't been giving "100% Liam".
He told the contestants before he left: "Obviously we all came here for the same sort of reason, but I haven't been giving 100% Liam. I know what 100% Liam is and I'm miles off that.
"Trying to find someone you leave the villa with that you love, that's the goal. But when you're not feeling that, it makes it a very hard sort of time to find that. I've been thinking long and hard, it isn't spur of the moment, so I've made a decision I'm going to leave the villa."
This year's show was won by Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti, with Gemma Owen and Luca Bish coming runners-up. Meanwhile, Indiya Polack and Dami Hope came third and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page fourth. For more showbiz and television stories, get our newsletter here.
